Nicole Catral, RDH, MHS

Senior Manager, Oral Health Programs
ADA Foundation

Why do you participate in Give Kids A Smile programs?

I participate in the program to try to make a difference in the lives of those that are underserved.  No one, especially a child, should have to suffer.  If I can play just a small role in helping to find oral health care services for a child, I will feel like I’m doing my part to pay it forward.

Why is the program important?

I’m very fortunate in that the national Give Kids A Smile program not only helps one child but has helped more than 5 million underserved children since the ADA launched the program in 2003.  I’m extremely blessed every day I go to work to have the opportunity to provide resources to more than 1,500 GKAS programs around the U.S. that are providing much needed free oral health services to underserved children.
