ADA Code Revision Committee
Requests for changes to the Code arise from members of the profession, third-party payer organizations and other interested parties. Review and action on requested changes takes place during the Code Revision Committee's (CRC) periodic meetings. The CRC is comprised of equal representation from third-party payers and the ADA. Six third-party payer organizations represented are: America's Health Insurance Plans, Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Delta Dental Plans Association, National Association of Dental Plans, National Purchaser of Dental Benefits. The ADA is represented by six dentists in practice appointed by the President of the Association.
Code Revision Committee (CRC) Meeting Notice
The CRC is scheduled to convene at the ADA Headquarters on February 13–14, 2009 for its first meeting of this cycle, addressing requests that will be incorporated into the version of the Code that becomes effective as of January 1, 2011. This meeting will convene at 12:30pm on Friday, February 13, 2009.
Any appeals of actions taken during the February 2009 meeting will be heard when the CRC convenes by conference call in May 2009.

CRC Meeting Reports
Meeting reports are available after their approval by the CRC. Reports from the current review and revision cycle that will lead to the version of the Code effective January 1, 2011, are available here for download approximately 30 days after each CRC meeting.
