International dental students

If you are a dental student enrolled outside the United States, you may be eligible for the International Dental Student Membership. This new category of membership provides benefits in both the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) and the ADA. To qualify, you must be enrolled as a Predoctoral student of a dental school listed in the World Directory of Dental Schools compiled by the FDI World Federation. Membership dues are $83 U.S. annually and cover both ASDA and ADA benefits.

To Apply: The Predoctoral International Application is available on ASDAnet.org. For a list of ASDA Membership benefits, visit ASDAnet.org.

After Graduation: Once you have graduated from the non-U.S. dental school and are in practice outside the U.S., you are eligible for ADA affiliate membership.

Benefits: As an ADA member, you will receive complimentary subscriptions to the online Journal of the American Dental Association, ADA News and a number of e-publications.  Also, members receive substantial price discounts on ADA catalog merchandise and continuing education courses, including online training. The ADA offers several patient education materials in Spanish.
