Promotional Tools for the 2017 Give Kids A Smile® program
NOTE: The A in "Give Kids A Smile" is always capitalized.
Join the Give Kids A Smile community in celebrating GKAS' 15th anniversary in 2017. Here's how:
Return to this web page frequently for updates and information that you can use to help raise awareness of this critical program.
Questions about images or photography? Contact Cathy Haibach at email@example.com.
- Give Kids A Smile website banner ads
NEW! Download a GKAS banner ad and place it on your website to show your patients and customers that you support Give Kids A Smile. A variety of sizes and messages are available.
- Follow Give Kids A Smile on social media
We’ll be posting program information, pictures and stories from the kickoff event and other events.
Follow the GKAS Facebook page.
Follow the American Dental Association: ADA Facebook and ADA Twitter.
- Use the Give Kids A Smile hashtag: #GKAS
Why use the hashtag? Hashtags allow people to see all the conversations around a particular topic. Using the #GKAS hashtag will help increase your reach and allow other people to see your content. And remember, social media is a two-way street! You can (and should) engage with others using the #GKAS hashtag. Hashtags are primarily used on Twitter and Instagram.
Share your event information, quotes, videos, and pictures. Be sure to tag Give Kids A Smile on Facebook!
Find ideas for social media posts in the document GKAS and Missions of Mercy Social Media Posts (PDF), located in the GKAS Program Planning Toolbox.
A note on photography: Please help the ADA Foundation tell the GKAS story by providing us with some photos and video from your program! Be sure to get a signed photo permissions form (the link will open a Word document) that names the ADA Foundation and the ADA as permitted users of your photos, and provide those photos to the ADA Foundation after your event. Please be sure that the dental team members are wearing appropriate gloves, masks, long sleeves, and protective eyewear, and wristwatches are removed, even if care is not being provided at that particular moment.
A Give Kids A Smile poster was polybagged with the January 23, 2017 issue of ADA News. The poster, which is two-sided and features text in English and Spanish, is helping GKAS supporters across the country show their commitment to this important program. Please let us know if you have any questions about this poster.
